The Austin Flea has been going on for just over a year and this will be my first time participating.  The Flea is an all-handmade, Austin-based indoor, one-day shopping fest that occurs every other month and this month’s show is sure to be a good one.  You can preview the list of vendors and then come check out everyone’s goods in person this Saturday the 7th.  There will also be a silent auction of items by the vendors to benefit the Breast Cancer Research Center.

The Austin Flea takes place at The Highball, which is great on its own as a bar and restaurant, but also puts on a large variety of really fun stuff to do (bowling, karaoke, dance parties, trivia night, and more).  A handmade shopping experience hosted by these folks is sure to be a blast.  Brunch and adult beverages will be available, too.
